Course Description:

This training is designed to educate the health and safety representative on Construction Projects about their legal duties In Ontario where construction projects are regulated by the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and Ontario Regulation 213/91.

A health and safety representative is required at a workplace or construction project where the number of workers in the workplace regularly exceeds five, and where there is no joint health and safety committee required [subsection 8(1)].

Health and safety representatives operating in the construction industry within Ontario, Canada. It is tailored to educate individuals who hold this important role about their legal duties under the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and Ontario Regulation 213/91.
