Course Description:

This online training program is tailored to meet the essential training requirements for proper utilization of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on construction sites in Ontario, Canada. Participants will gain comprehensive knowledge of the hierarchy of controls as it pertains to PPE, recognize various types of PPE used in general industry, understand PPE training requirements, and grasp both employer and employee responsibilities regarding its usage. Enforcement of PPE regulations are mandated by the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and Ontario Regulation 213/91.
